Thanks for checking in on First Baptist Church of Sunbury.  I don't know what you think of when you think of church, but I always think of this: Acts 2:44-47 CEV "All the Lord's followers often met together, and they shared everything they had. They would sell their property and possessions and give the money to whoever needed it. Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely while praising God. Everyone liked them, and each day the Lord added to their group others who were being saved."

 

I don't know about you, but this is where I want to go to church. We do our best to create this atmosphere at First Baptist. We love each other, take care of each other, study God's word, take communion together, eat meals together and spend a lot of time praising God. We try to have so much love here that it spills out into the community. We try to bring people to Christ knowing that we are people saved only by Jesus Christ and the mercy of God. We are doing our best and wish to share our message with everyone.  We hope that you might come to experience God's love that we have to share.
